Training collar for my puppy?

I have a week old lhasa poo 13 and am trying to train. We enrolled in puppy classes, but because I I bought it at a pet store instead of a breeder, it's a bit difficult to train. Personally I do not like training collars. They have things like tip-pinch in the neck of dogs and this is what makes responding. but not necessarily learning. which are almost required to move the way you think they want to do. puppy isn't not necessarily learn things. Also, because of where he / she comes. some dogs just take more time to learn and realize what you want. my mom is a pet groomer and owns her own business, so I've been around dogs all my life, in your store and help with things that grow. I also always ask questions about my boyfriend of two pitbulls, pitbull and roommats. your puppy looks like he / she training needs only constant, repetitive, and the dog will take over time. the most important training is to be repetitive and consistent. say a word for "up" or "down" or "sit" do not use words differently because they'll never collect on it. just be patient and reward the dog when he does the right thing. although the right half way, training ust about helping to progress. also get a book or magazine or the type of dog are. you can learn specific things about the type of dog that could be different btwn the different types of dogs
