It's cloudy eye of a dog as a result of eye injuries (puncture) reversible?

The vet said it would take up to two months of medication until my eyes of your pet will be restored to its original state. I am very worried about her. What are the chances of recovery of my pet?

If it were only a minor abrasion, it should heal fine. If it were a serious puncture, the vet probably would have suggested enucleation. I suppose the possibilities are great because it is treated conservatively.
