How do you keep cats from using a garden space as a litter box ?
I am new to owning cats. I have 2 outdoor cats that are here to keep the mice under control. I live in a wooded area. Don't fret, they are well fed and taken care of and I keep up with all vaccinations. I am planning on putting in a small terraced garden spot but I know once I till the soil and get seeds in the ground they are going to be using it as a litter box. I was thinking about maybe covering the area with some kind of nylon mesh or netting. Any suggestions?
Yeah, I'm thinking the mesh might be your best bet, unless you can get some 'cat-away' spray. =)
