Carry Case

does your cat mind being put in his/her carry case?

Our moggy has been all over the shop over christmas, the poor lad. We had to cart him off to various people as we weren't home to feed him. He's recently been 'done', so I thought he'd associate the box with going to the vet and having an op, but he doesn't seem to mind. In my experience of cats (had lots of them!) cats HATE being put in their box and either pee or scratch or cry. My cat just sat in the box and fell asleep!

My cat really likes her carrier. I leave it out all the time and she uses it to take a nap or hide in. A favorite game is for her to crouch behind it and pounce on a toy that I toss by. I've taken her to the office, a quiet pet store and on 3hr trips in the summer so she doesn't associate it with the vets. Although she's had alot of vet visits lately for knee surgery, she's still comfortable with the carrier and curls up for a nap when we hit the road.
