Where can I get black lights large enough to fill a basement?
My sweet sixteen is in October and I'm doing a black light glow in the dark neon theme and naming it BlackOut. Where can I get affordable black lights to fill an entire basement?
Hardware store.
I use two 48 inch black light florescent tubes in workshop florescent light fixtures. Just use multiple fixtures.
We can't see what you see and we don't know what you know. What does "entire basement" mean? We don't know how large that is, whether it is a finished basement or not - or even if there are already light fixtures installed, power available, how the lights would be suspended from the ceiling... You may also need to get some good, heavy duty power exension cables. DO NOT go cheap. DO NOT overload power outlets or power strips. This is for safety. If your friends are at your party, you do want to keep your friends safe, right?
Another option is to see what places like Guitar Center or musiciansfriend.com have - check in the DJ area - under "Lighting".
